Today Evan had his two week well-baby visit and he did so great. He's gained a whole pound since last week and is now 7 lbs, 11 oz!!! SO exciting! We loved the nurse practitioner who really spent a lot of time with Evan and with us, answering our questions and giving him a thorough examination. He is doing fantastic, except for his left foot is bent inwards just a bit because of how he was positioned in utero. We need to do some stretching of his foot but he will eventually grow out of it. He was such a good baby for the nurse, allowed himself to be poked and prodded and bent in funny positions, all without fussing. We were so proud ;)
After the doctor's office we had tummy time, and Evan is really doing well at working out those neck muscles. He'll be holding his head up in no time!!
We also had our very first tub bath today!! Sadly no pictures since Will was out when I bathed him and I didn't want to leave a wet newborn sitting in a tub while I fiddled with the camera ... that just has bad idea written all over it. However, I promise you tub shots in the future!
