May 1 -- Visiting Daddy and a Walk with Mommy

The only time Evan woke last night was when he got his legs stuck in the crib slats (note to self -- time to buy mesh bumpers) and couldn't move around in his sleep like he likes to do, but he got himself back to sleep really quickly after I came in there and unstuck him! Ha ha!

Getting all that sleep and a couple of big naps at daycare (plus a lot of holding and loving from Ms. Tawanna, a teacher there who is a professed Evan-worshiper) put Evan in an awesome mood when I picked him up. It was Friday and it was actually a nice day despite the warnings of rain, so we decided to bag the indoors and went for a big walk in Adams Morgan!
