March 7 -- Evan's Day With the Family

Kind of a short post, but Maria & Stephen have agreed to watch baby for us so we can see a movie!! Love them!! Also special love to Stephen for going all the way to DC to get my spare key for my car since I managed to lose my keys today at Macys. Yay me.

March 6 -- Aunt Elena is Here!

Spending the weekend at the Coyles again. Evan and I got to pick up Aunt Elena from the airport today!! Very exciting stuff, we've been talking about her arrival all week:

March 5 -- Mobile Man

Evan spent the day transfixed by mobiles. Here he is staring at his mobile at E.L. Haynes Public Charter School, where we hope he will be going in a few years!!





Oh, and I just had to show this ... the pediatrician's office sent their bill ... to Evan!!! You would think of all people they would know he's not really capable of paying bills at the present time:

March 4 -- My Little Hippie Boy

Well, it's official ... Evan is starting to FINALLY outgrow his newborn jammies and it's time to get him into real clothes. Thank God, I was getting so sick of looking at the same jammies day in & day out.

Speaking of jammin ... I had to put Evan in his proper threads today in honor of Phish hitting the road again this weekend:

Evan had a lot more smile practice today. Melts my heart!! Other than that he did a lot of sleeping. I guess he's sleeping off the big week we had with Nana.

In other news, I had my 6 week post-partum visit today, and everything is fine, so I am officially no longer an OB patient. While I do not miss being pregnant, it definitely was the end of an era. I am no longer pregnant or post-partum. I am now simply Evan's mommy. Can't think of a better identity ;)

March 3 -- Missing Nana

So as you can tell, my mom left today. We were both so glad to have her help and her love while she was here, and we are both missing her. However, we are also REALLY looking forward to Aunt Elena's visit this weekend and hanging out with all the Coyles at their house in Virginia all weekend!!
